It is slightly more than a year since i met her. Once a classmate of mine in the best ever first 3 month class any batch in JJC had ever seen. The class is none other than the Badminton gang of 06A02. She is one of the first few girls whom i knew then and was really fun knowing her. She joined the Shadows and did a great job for orientation 2 in 2006. I am sure she went through lots of hard times and had to over come hurdles none could ever imagaine as a leader in school but she did it nonetheless. Then came 2007 orientation Family 1 voted as the Asst. Family Head. Really glad that she is again given this opportunity as i know she would be able to do it well. However what puzzles me now is why didn't she become the family head. The reason is very simple. She has done or is doing ( still ) hell lots of things for family one since the very very very start of the whole orientation and before that during the preparation stage. She got the Ogls thier shoe laces, the pouch, the nice names we have inside. The first family dinner after orientation in 2007 was her idea and she spend hell lots of time planning and organising it. The family dinner did turn out to be a succuess with campers saying that it was fun and nice but what is still a big question mark is the BBQ 2morrow. As much as what she can do or plan, she needs support. In trying to gather support from follow Ogls, i help her thank those who came forward and gave all they had in making all these events possible by planning with her supporting her and running the events with her. These OGLs deserves to be credited for all they had done but i feel that in Family One, there is this one person who i have been writing about above deserves the outmost credits and respect that nobody in the Family including the Family Head can refute. She is none other then Xinyi. For the pass weeks, she has been busy and not concentrating in class because of all the activities she is planning for the campers. Her alone is doing most of the work as somebody who was voted to do these things is totally oblivious of what is going on and cannot even be bother to care. I shall not touch on that too much as i shall give him the benefit of the doubt in whatever reasons he has for not carrying out his responsibilities. Hahaaa after writing soo soo much wads my point u may ask. Well what i am trying to get across is that i hope the next time u guys ( campers ) sees Xinyi go up to her with this big big smile and say "Thank You". Also another purpose of this post is to let u ppl know that sometimes, not the person holding the biggest reponsibility should be credited for any succuess of an event. gosh, this guy can't write in paragraphs and i`m having headache reading the post (but i can't stop reading it). but i love him so much for this uber-super-ultra-plus ultra-touching post. it made me cried;( you did your part to help in every lil way you could. thankyou, foojishen. and i must thank angjunting from family four. he sponsered us food and money cos famone is short of money for bbq later. and he also generously lend us his ipod and speaker for our famdinner ytd. he is not even from family one but yet, the lil actions he made is great beyond words. i am so touched, angjunting(: and i must thank the following pple: EUNICE ANG PINGXIONG. thanks for everything. like going to buy stuff, helping me to think of ideas and more. you`re of a biggggg help! just stop stoning(: YANCHANG: thanks for helping to think of the three posters idea for family dinner and ur quick wits to light up the stairs with lightsticks when it rained. it was great(: YVEE AND DEV: fori know now i aint great company these few weeks cos i am always preoccupied with famone stuff. i`m moody and wat-not. thanks for always trying to make me smile(: you two are greaaaaaaat(: macbrekkie! GERM: thanks for always helping to think of ideas and helping to deco the grandstand for famdinner. and yes, the class. we still have yet to buy the balloons. we will pull thru this hectic period. i felt so loved ytd morning, on the way to sch. i met xiuling and lixin at the bus stop. lixin gave a me very sweet choc and xiuling gave me lolli! i felt so loooved(: it was out of no reason and they gave me sweets! thankyou, ladies! famdinner at grandstand. went there with germ right after sch dismiss to do up the grandstand with crepe paper. some cocked up with the paper cos they kept moving. but the effect was nice afterall(: at first, it was a lil dissappointing cos of the attendance. but clara was there to cheer me up. thanks clara. so we mingle ardd and well, things get better. we had some stupid games and freddy was entertaining them madly while we are lighting up the heart with F1 in the centre with the wind and rain. so up goes the three posters. 'hi family one!' 'i bet you guys are enjoying ur chicken rice!' 'you guys want to know a secret? really really? freddy's a gay and xinyi boobs are fake!' pls look down to catch them in act!' and they went down the stairs to the corridor (since it was raining and we can't do it at the original plan of doing it at the flagpole area). and then, they saw the heart-with-f1-in-the-centre, all glowing and nice(: thanks to clara and two f4 campers who helped us light up the heart. i think we are the first family to have family dinner in sch. and this dinner is different from the rest. cos it is a special dinner that the campers will not forget. which family does family dinner in sch, at the family spot? which family comes up with touching ideas to surprise the campers? and which family have chicken rice for family dinner?! HAHA ONLY FAMILY ONE 2007. i am glad tt everything went well. no, make it GREAT. thanks everyone, for helping in one way or the other(: edited: just came back from famone to six bbq. happy, laughing, crazy, lame-ing, on top of feeling rotten, leftout and unbonded. reached at four plus with clara to wait for the food. then started cooking when the fire is done. and i nv left the pit the moment i stepped in. og1 prepared sth for their ogls. so sweet(: after a while, almost everyone left the pit, to play with their og. the campers were having so much fun(: cleared the area abit and i left with junting at 10 while the rest are stil havoc-ing at westcaost. |
